The CHSN Mission
As a family of open-minded people, Clarkstown High School North prepares students to become ethical, responsible and creative global citizens who will leave their mark on society. Collaborative efforts between the local and school communities will provide guidance, support and opportunities for involvement. This will enable students to: participate in challenging academia, athletics and arts; organize community and school events; voice their opinions on a local and national level; and, lead fellow citizens to fulfill their civic duties.

The Mugen Taiko Drum Team at CHSN/CHSS showed great energy at the Walk to End Altzheimer's event at the Clover Stadium in Pomona on Sunday, Oct 20th. Their contribution was appreciated by hundreds of walkers and dogs at the event.
Clarkstown High School North’s English Department hosted its 20th Annual Sticky Notes – an all-day celebration of creative writing.
Ahead of this year's statewide No Empty Chair Campaign (April 22-26), the junior and senior classes at Clarkstown High School North recently attended a presentation given by local attorney and Clarkstown CSD parent Brian Berkowitz.

Anna Xie is weighing her options for college and remains undecided, while Christina Yan plans to pursue a major in biochemistry this fall at Columbia University.
Andrew Jaynes will be studying computer science and computational linguistics this fall at Duke University; Gianna Maltbie plans to pursue a major in chemical engineering at Princeton University.
The third annual Blackout Poetry Contest came to a close today with an in-person ceremony. Students from the Birchwood School, Clarkstown High School North and Clarkstown High School South are invited each year to participate in this creative expression that transforms ordinary words into extraordinary art.
