Clarkstown North Hall of Fame
The impetus for the introduction of the Clarkstown North Hall of Fame was the untimely death of Danny Casey, a former three-sport athlete, who was an “All-Section” performer in football, basketball, and baseball, beginning with his sophomore year. Danny was a 1987 graduate, he was Ivy League educated, being an alumnus of Columbia as well as a member of the Columbia Lions baseball team.
In his honor, it was deemed appropriate to form the Clarkstown North Hall of Fame to honor the most outstanding student-athletes for their accomplishments at Clarkstown North High School as well as athletes from Congers High School and Clarkstown High School antecedents of North. In 1994 the 1st class of inductees was selected; choosing one athlete from the 1940’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s.
