Student at sticky notes

Clarkstown High School North’s English Department hosted its 20th Annual Sticky Notes – an all-day celebration of creative writing. Approximately 90 Rams took part in 15 different workshops led by fellow classmates, alumni, published authors and members of the administration. Participants then had an opportunity to revise and perform what they created during an open mic session, which encouraged collaborative learning and improvement for our Clarkstown CSD students.

No Empty Chair Group photo

Ahead of this year's statewide No Empty Chair Campaign (April 22-26), the junior and senior classes at Clarkstown High School North recently attended a presentation given by local attorney and Clarkstown CSD parent Brian Berkowitz. Brian spoke about the potential life-changing consequences of drinking and driving, provided insights from his work with DWI and traffic violations, and answered questions alongside CHSN's school resource officers (SROs). Thank you to the Student Leaders Against Destructive Decisions (S.L.A.D.D.) Club for sponsoring this event, and to Brian for sharing in our mission to educate and encourage our children to make good choices – now and in the future.
