Health Careers Club
Advisor: Mrs. Reina
The Future Nurses’ and Health Careers Club is a vibrant and active opportunity at Clarkstown High School North. Its primary purpose is to help students explore careers in healthcare, more specifically nursing. We offer several activities including guest speakers, hands-on experience, field trips and fundraising. Meetings are held in the main nurse's office on Thursdays at 2pm. All are welcome!
Patrice Brennan Scholarship Fund
A nursing scholarship has been established by the Clarkstown Nurses as a tribute to Patricia Brennan, a nurse in the annex for many years. Mrs. Brennan not only cared for students and staff, but was also a role model for many young students she cared for. The scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior who wishes to pursue a career in nursing. Applications are available in the School Counseling Center.
The Future Nurses’ and Health Careers Club has an annual fundraiser to contribute to this scholarship. Anyone interested in making a donation can send checks payable to the Clarkstown Central School District “Patricia Brennan Scholarship” to Coordinator of Health Services Susan Sherlock. Applications are available in the Guidance Office.
